Prom Photos 2011

This was a session I did for a group of high school friends from Mariner High in Huntington Beach, CA. It was prom season and I thought it would be fun to create a unique prom portrait for them, with a fashion twist. The idea was to make the prom photo a more personal and contemporary looking image. It seemed to me that every prom photo I’ve seen for years all looked the same, ” boring and very posed”. I wanted to give the couples a new fresher look when they have their prom photos taken. Thanks to Melissa from the Glam Factory for the make-up, and thanks to all these amazing kids for helping launch this new venture.

June 2011, It’s graduation and prom season and we decided that we would create a fashionistic style prom session for these couples. So here’s A. Michael’s of A.
